Ron Murray
MANAGING DIRECTOR
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Ron trained as a Painter and Decorator and rose to supervisory level before transferring to the Offshore Industry. Following a return to onshore, he acted as manager for a leading national construction firm on the Shell facilities maintenance contract and, after training at Brooklands College, he became their deputy and then senior, Safety Adviser. He joined the Aberdeen Construction Health and Safety Group as Deputy Safety Adviser, with responsibility for expanding their training facility, before leaving to found Wood-Murray, which later became Safety Scotland.

- NEBOSH Construction Certificate and Diploma
- Level 4 NVQ in Occupational Safety & Health practice
- Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH)
- Member of the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR)

INDUSTRY PARTICIPATION
Ron actively participates in local health and safety issues as an executive committee member of both Grampian Occupational Safety and Health Group (GOSH) and Aberdeen Association of Construction professionals (AACP). He is chairman of the GOSH construction group and represents the North East of Scotland on the Site Safe Scotland Committee. He has in the past delivered ASAT (Approved Safety Awareness Training) applicable to the SCORE (Scottish Operatives Registration Executive) and CSCS (Construction skills Certification Scheme) schemes.
Fraser Morrison
DIRECTOR
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Fraser left the Police and worked for an oil company as a QHSE Advisor. Fraser then worked on the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR) project for Tier 1 contractors as a Health & Safety Advisor. He was then head hunted by a local civil engineering firm to become their sole HSE Advisor for over 200 staff.

- Chartered Health and Safety Practitioner of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CMIOSH)
- Member of the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR)
- Other qualifications include: Appointed Person for Lifting Operations, Lifting Accessories Examiner, Temporary Works Coordinator, Fire Coordinator

INDUSTRY PARTICIPATION
Fraser delivers training courses along with M2 Safety’s training partner, Angus Construction Training.

Fraser is also a register IOSH mentor under IOSH mentoring scheme.
